Retail Nursery Sales Associates:  Pay Rate-DOE

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Excellent Customer service
  • Assist customers with plant sales, provide information and plant suggestions
  • Assist with plant maintenance, watering, weeding, pruning and fertilization
  • Receive and unload deliveries
  • Stock, price, organize and display inventory
  • Schedule customer deliveries
  • Load customers with bulk material, which will require operating equipment (will train)
  • Complete sale transactions
  • Assist in yard maintenance to provide a clean ,organize, and safe environment
  • Plant knowledge and experience is a plus 
  • Must be willing to work weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.

 

Nursery Sales Supervisor: Pay Rate-DOE

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Plant knowledge and experience required
  • Oversee staff by communicating, providing direction and training
  • Ensure daily duties are completed properly
  • Help ensure plant health with proper care and placement
  • Supervise weekend operations
  • Balance cash register and daily sales
  • Assist in ordering material
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.
  • Weekends are mandatory

 

Delivery Driver & Yard Laborer: Pay Rate-DOE

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and is insurable under companies policy
  • Comfortable operating a full size truck with a dump bed
  • Experience operating heavy equipment
  • Excellent customer service
  • Complete daily delivery schedule efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Load bulk material customer’s
  • Assist in unloading incoming deliveries
  • Responsible for yard maintenance and organization ensuring a safe and clean work space
  • Irrigation maintenance, perform weekly checks and repair
  • Assist with plant maintenance, watering, weeding, pruning and fertilization
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.

 

Receptionist & Office Assistant: Pay Rate-DOE

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service
  • Greet customers in a friendly, professional and timely manner
  • Direct customer information to the appropriate department
  • Schedule appointments for customer consultations
  • Assist with nursery sales by ringing up customers and providing basic product information
  • Maintain indoor retail and office space, organize and display products
  • Assist in data entry
  • Willingness to learn company’s POS and accounting software programs
  • Basic gardening knowledge or general interest is a plus

 

Fine Gardening Team Members:  Pay Rate-DOE

About the position:

The Fine Gardening Team is responsible for maintaining high end residential, commercial, and community HOAs by providing a proactive landscape maintenance approach which includes weeding, pruning, annual plantings, planters and landscape bed care, and perennial enhancement plantings. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under company’s policy
  • Ability to communicate with and take direction from Fine Gardening Supervisor(s)
  • Assist with plant maintenance, watering, weeding, pruning and planter bed care and fertilization
  • Ability to operate power equipment including back pack blowers
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.
  • Plant knowledge and experience is a plus 

 

Lawn Care Technician Team Member: Pay Rate-DOE

About the position:

The Lawn Care Team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing high end residential, commercial and community HOA lawn and turf programs.  Their primary goal is to provide friendly service that is quick, consistent, and efficient that leads to long term enhancement of overall health and aesthetic qualities in the landscape. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Have a valid driver’s license and is insurable under company’s policy
  • Possess good attitude and disposition including greeting customers and all team members in a friendly, professional and kind manner 
  • Ability to quickly, efficiently, and safely operate all lawn maintenance equipment including but not limited to mowers, trimmers, blowers, aerators, and power de-thatchers
  • Attention to detail in all facets including work performance, safety, and jobsite surroundings
  • Ability to communicate with and take direction from maintenance division supervisors
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to help with property cleanups as necessary
  • Basic gardening knowledge or general interest is a plus

 

Landscape Enhancement Team Member: Pay Rate-DOE

About the position:

The Landscape Enhancement Team is responsible for beautifying existing landscapes and providing small scale landscape renovations to help create more useful landscapes.  This team is multifaceted and provides a broad range of services including tree installation, lawn renovations, planter bed care, pathway installations, erosion control management, property clean-ups, and a whole host of other services.  

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and is insurable under companies policy
  • Ability to maneuver truck and trailer setup
  • Experience operating small to mid-size power equipment including plate compactors, jumping jacks, skid loaders, walk behind equipment, chain saws, mowers, tillers, aerators, etc. 
  • Excellent customer service and ability to interact with customers
  • Assist in loading and unloading of materials and plant supplies
  • Assist with plant maintenance, watering, pruning and fertilization of plant material
  • Ability to perform property cleanups
  • Ability to lift 50lbs. and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions for extended peroids of time.
  • Irrigation experience is a plus

 

Irrigation Technicians: Pay Rate-DOE

About the position:

Irrigation Technicians are responsible for installing and maintaining high end residential, commercial and community HOA irrigation systems. Their primary goal is to install worry free systems that are serviceable, and maintain existing systems activation, repair, uniformity, scheduling and winterization. Provide friendly, efficient and knowledgeable service that is ultimately plant need driven.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Technicians should have a strong background in all aspects of irrigation
  • The ability to diagnose malfunctions within an irrigation system and the ability to make necessary repairs.
  • Have the basic comprehension of what goes into a hydrologically designed system and the ability to install systems from plans and/or field layout
  • An understating of irrigation scheduling with the ability to meet evapotranspiration using precipitation rates
  • The ability to work with a variety of material such as PVC, copper, brass, IPS, CTS and polyethylene
  • The ability to work with any controller and the low voltage that goes with said systems
  • Maintain accurate time sheets for payroll
  • Maintain accurate work orders with time and materials for invoicing
  • Maintain a clean and organize vehicle between each job site
  • Review work orders prior to leaving yard as to assure all needed information, equipment and materials shall be in position when one enters job site
  • The desire to take ownership of all work done
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. and work outdoors in adverse wither conditions for extended periods of time.
